L’ACAOH organise plusieurs activités, tout au long de l’année, à commencer par la célébration de Yennayer, le nouvel an Amazigh. En effet, l’association prépare à chaque année une soirée avec un buffet, de la musique et de la danse. Au début de la soirée, différents spectacles sont présentés. Par la suite, les gens sont invités à déguster les différents plats apportés par les participants.

En plus de yennayer, l’ACAOH commémore à chaque année Tafsut imazighen (le printemps amazigh) et Tafsut taberkant (printemps noir). Encore une fois, la soirée est remplie de représentation qui rappel nos origines et nos traditions.

Les soirées organisées par l’ACAOH sont souvent animées par la troupe Tilelli et les étudiants de l’école amazighe mais aussi par d’autres groupes de la communauté Amazigh au Canada.

Au mois de décembre l’ACAOH fête l’anniversaire des cours de Tamazight ainsi que celui de l’association (Amuli n ugherbaz akw d Tidukla). Lors de cette soirée, les enfants reçoivent des cadeaux et soufflent les bougies de leur gâteau. De plus, l’association organise un hommage à Matoub Lounes. Cet hommage, souvent au mois de juin est animé par plusieurs membres de l’ACAOH, entre autres la troupe Tilleli et Ferhat Chebini.

Pendant l’été, les membres de l’ACAOH sont invités à des BBQ qui permet, aux amazigh de la région d’Ottawa-Gatineau de se connaître et de passer les belles journées d’été ensemble.

The ACAOH hosts many cultural activites during the year, the most important one being Yennayer, the celebration of the Amazigh new year. Every year, the association plans an evening with a buffet, traditional music, and dance. A number of shows are presented within the course of this evening. Thereafter, guests are invited to taste the various dishes brought by participants.

In addition to Yennayer, the ACAOH commerorates Tafsut Imazighen (Amazigh Spring) and Tafsut taberkant (Black Spring) on a yearly basis. Once again, the evening is filled with different representations to recall our traditions and origins.

These evenings are often animated by the Tilelli band, by students from Amazigh classes, or even by groups from other Amazigh communities in Canada.

Towards the end of the year, the ACAOH celebrates the anniversary of both the Amazigh courses (offered during the year) and the association itself (Amuli n ugherbaz akw d Tidukla). At this time, students receive gifts for their efforts and are given a large cake to celebrate. Moreover, the Association organizes a tribute to Matoub Lounes. This homage (usually in June) is made by members of the Association, including the Tillelli band and Ferhat Chebini.

Over the summer, members of the association are invited to outdoor barbecues and picnics to strengthen the Amazigh community and to reiterate the purpose of the association.
